Evaluating Digital Marketing Tactics
Rule #3
Take Full Advantage of Your Data
Think of your data as a crystal ball. It tells you what’s working, and just as importantly, it tells you what’s not working.
If you know how to read it, it can even tell you which component is or isn’t working. And the great thing? It’s not like reading tea leaves, it’s easy and reliable once you know how!
Evaluating Tactics
take the right next steps
You will send me your initiatives and data (where possible) and I’ll review them for key learnings prior to our meeting.
We’ll then spend 90 minutes together via video chat to go over the data and tactic(s) to determine the best next steps for you.
You will leave with a better understanding of how to interpret and leverage your data as well as with a tactical action plan to keep you moving forward.

Our Approach
one step at a time increases execution
Get Launched
Starting is often the biggest hurdle. We’ll begin with your lowest lift, biggest opportunity initiative(s).
Learn & Improve
Learn from what you’ve done. Measure & analyze the results and make tweaks (aka optimizations) as necessary.
Next Initiative
Move to the next opportunity, likely higher lift. Ideally it piggybacks off of your first initiative(s) in at least one way.
Rinse & Repeat
Continue testing, analyzing, and adding on to your marketing efforts at a pace & spend that works for you.

Which rates should I optimize to?
Marketing data can easily be overwhelming. There are a lot of different ways to slice and dice it, a lot of different rates to consider, and a lot of places you can extract it from. And at the end of the day you probably just care about revenue and spend.
So how do we make sense of marketing data? How is it useful in guiding us to productive spend and revenue? How do you take a pile of numbers and shape it into a crystal ball?
Easy! Seriously. It doesn’t HAVE to be confusing. There are a few basic principals that you must grasp, but it’s truly not rocket science. If you’re lacking confidence in understanding or leveraging data, you likely just need someone to give you the ol’ Wizard of Oz peek behind the curtains.
Once you understand the basic concepts you will be able to quickly evaluate results and understand what the data is telling you and how to prioritize those learnings when you’re taking action.
Leveraging your own data to implement quick feedback loops and adopting a mindset of competing with yourself will keep you on the path to success.
